Alonso Porras Diaz
has developed his practice in corporate law, taxation, energy, real estate, competition law and consumer protection. He has specialised in assisting foreign investors, accompanying them in their processes of establishment and incorporation in Nicaragua, due diligences, obtaining licences and permits from regulatory entities, and the incorporation of companies in free zones, until the day-to-day advice on the operation of the company. Mr Porras has extensive experience in public politics, administrative and regulatory law, and has advised international agencies of investment promotion and public institutions in matters related to regulatory frameworks for the facilitation of trade and business and improvement of the regulatory framework for the attraction of investments. Additionally, he has been a Representative before the National Assembly and has held positions in the government cabinet. Mr Porras is a cum laude graduate in a Master's degree in corporate law at the American University and a Master's in Business Administration at the INCAE in 1994.
