About Eduardo Diamantino

Eduardo Diamantino is a partner at Diamantino Advogados Associados, specialising in civil law, agribusiness and, notably, tax law. He is vice president of the Brazilian Academy of Tax Law (ABDT). He has a law degree from the University of Uberaba and a postgraduate degree in tax law from the University of Salamanca, Spain. He is also a professor at Agroceo, an exclusive strategic leadership programme in agribusiness. As a member of the Instituto Pensar Agro, he represented the Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders and advised on the inclusion of livestock inputs such as embryos, semen and purebred breeders, securing a 60% reduction in IBS and CBS tax rates within Brazil’s Tax Reform.
