About Eduardo Diamantino

Eduardo Diamantino is a partner at Diamantino Advogados Associados, specialising in civil law, agribusiness and tax. He is the vice president of the Brazilian Academy of Tax Law (ABDT). He has a law degree from the University of Uberaba (UNIUBE) and a postgraduate degree in Tax Law from the University of Salamanca, Spain. He is also a professor at Agroceo, an exclusive strategic leadership programme in agribusiness. As a member of the Instituto Pensar Agro (IPA), he represented the Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders (ABCZ) and advised on the inclusion of livestock input credits such as embryos, semen, and purebred breeders, securing a 60% reduction in the rates of IBS and CBS (goods and services taxes) within Brazil’s recent tax reform.
