About João Eduardo Zica Diamantino

João Eduardo Zica Diamantino is a partner at Diamantino Advogados Associados, a firm founded by Diamantino Silva Filho, and recognised for over 60 years as setting a benchmark in agricultural law. Representing the third generation of the family to work at the firm, he practises in civil, agribusiness and tax Law. He has a law degree from IBMEC, a postgraduate degree in Civil Procedural Law from PUC-SP, and he is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Tax Law at IBET. He also serves as a guest lecturer at the Agribusiness Student League (IBMEC-SP). He advised ABCZ (the Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders) in a case by decided on by a federal court that upheld the legality of live cattle exports under Brazilian law, its compliance with MAPA oversight, and the fact that it met the health and sanitation requirements of importing countries.
