About João Areosa

João Areosa is a founding partner at Areosa and has been practising for over 15 years in consulting and complex dispute resolution before national and international arbitration chambers, all levels of the Brazilian judiciary and administrative instances, notably the Brazilian SEC and Central Bank. He holds a Master’s in Civil Procedural Law from PUC-SP, an LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School, extension studies in Corporate Law and Capital Markets from FGV-Rio, and a Bachelor of Laws from PUC-Rio. He is a professor and lecturer in graduate courses, author of articles in collections, newspapers and law journals, and member of the list of Arbitrators of the Chamber of Arbitration and Mediation of Agribusiness.
