About Alexandros Tsagkalidis

Alexandros Tsagkalidis is a partner at Anagnostopoulos. He advises and represents high-end clients in complex white-collar crime cases with trans-jurisdictional aspects, and has broad experience in business crime, corruption and anti-competitive practices, money laundering, asset recovery, financial fraud, tax offences, extradition and mutual assistance requests. He was awarded his doctorate at the School of Law, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens; he is a member of the Legal Experts Advisory Panel of Fair Trials International and the Hellenic Criminal Bar Association. In 2023, he was awarded the Babakos Prize by the Hellenic Criminal Bar Association. Alexandros has published in Greek and English on business crime, investigation procedures, money laundering, criminal law, defence rights, extradition and surrender procedures.
