About Önder Erol Ünsal

Önder Erol Ünsal started his career as a trade mark examiner at TÜRKPATENT in 1997. Until 2020, he served in different departments of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, including the Appeal Board. In 2012, Önder worked for the World Intellectual Property Organization for a year. He resigned from government in 2020 and since then has been working as an IP consultant at Ankara Patent. Önder has participated in the meetings of many national and international organisations, as a speaker or trainer. He is the author of numerous articles and two books about IP and is the founder of Türkiye’s most popular IP blog.
