About Gonca Adalı Başmakcı

Gonca Adalı Başmakcı is a Turkish patent and trade mark attorney and the director of Ankara Patent’s IP department, having joined the team in 2002. Gonca received her Bachelor’s in Banking and Finance from Bilkent University and her Master’s in Production and Marketing from Gazi University. She joined a two-year programme at the Institute of Justice to improve her skills and broaden her horizons. Gonca’s area of expertise covers portfolio management, strategy development for trade mark/industrial design application processes, and registration and enforcement procedures for local and foreign clients alike.
