About Alfonso López-Ibor Aliño

Alfonso López-Ibor Aliño is the founding partner at López-Ibor Abogados. Before creating the firm, Alfonso was the managing partner of the Madrid office of Allen Overy for ten years and spent 18 years as the managing director of Ventura Garces & López-Ibor Abogados – a firm he co-founded with the late Ventura Garces, a leading commercial lawyer in Barcelona. Alfonso’s practice covered virtually all aspects of corporate law, finance and banking, aviation law, litigation and arbitration, and mediation. He has been involved in a very wide range of cases throughout his career but specialises in crypto-assets, fintech and blockchain and has experience in syndicated loans, guarantees, and asset financing.
