About Francisco J Sintura Varela

Francisco J Sintura Varela is the managing partner of Francisco Sintura Varela Abogados Asociados. He has served as head of the Foreign Trade Section of the Banking Superintendency; head of the Control Division of the Bank of the Republic; Auxiliary Judge of the Supreme Court of Justice; and Deputy Attorney General of the Nation and Attorney General. He is a professor of criminal procedure law, and has successfully intervened in consultancies before the UNDP, UNODOC, the governments of Colombia, Peru, and Honduras, among others. Francisco litigates in matters of corporate criminal law, and offers advisory, consulting, and auditing services to private companies in the prevention of money laundering.
