About Maria Carolina Sintura Sánchez

Maria Carolina Sintura Sánchez is Francisco Sintura Varela Abogados Asociados’ editor. She is a doctoral student in English Literature at UC Santa Barbara, is a teacher and researcher, and has an MA in English from Georgetown University, Washington DC. Her research interests include the legal humanities, critical university studies, critical race theory, and women of colour feminisms. Maria is currently researching the discourses constructed around the figure of international students and scholars. She is a co-founder of, and writer in, SietePolas, feminist collective and blog based in Colombia that divulges feminist perspectives and debates to a broad Latin-American, Spanish-speaking audience.
