Joana Lobato Heitor is a tax partner at MFA Legal specialising in tax litigation and arbitration, international tax planning and corporate reorganisations, with a special focus on the telecommunications, insurance, and energy sectors. In the area of tax litigation, Joana has represented large national and international clients in more than 200 tax cases before the Tax Administration, tax courts, arbitration courts, and the Court of Justice of the European Union. She provides advice to large Portuguese companies in tax inspection procedures, tax fraud investigations and tax proceedings.
