Samuel Fernandes de Almeida is the managing partner of MFA Legal and a renowned tax practitioner, specialising in tax litigation and tax arbitration. He has been an arbitrator at the Administrative Arbitration Centre (CAAD) since its creation, and is an appointed expert of Tribute Foundation in Portugal. Samuel also has extensive experience in providing tax advice to large multinationals on highly complex projects, particularly in the energy, telecommunications, infrastructure, distribution, banking, and insurance sectors. His practice includes tax advice on structuring investments in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde, restructuring, transfer pricing and international tax.
