About Epke Spijkerman

Epke Spijkerman graduated in Dutch law from Leiden University in 2000 and completed the post-academic course in employment law (PALA) at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2008. He joined BUREN in 2020 as a partner. Epke specialises in employment and the employee participation law aspects of international M&A, business transfers, reorganisations, and dismissal proceedings (collective and individual). He has extensive experience in advising and litigating for national and international companies, including listed multinationals. Epke is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the Amsterdam Employment Lawyers Association, the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association, the Dutch Labour Law Association, the Association for Sports and Law, and the People Committee of AmCham.
