About Silvia Katzenmaier

Silvia Katzenmaier has been practising law since 2002, advising clients on complex national and international family law cases and drafting marriage contracts, in particular with an international dimension. She represents clients before the German courts and the European Court of Human Rights. Her areas of specialisation include national and international divorces, including property division, spousal and child maintenance, equalisation of pensions and rights of access, parental custody and international child abduction. She also acts as an expert witness on German family law worldwide. She is a member of several family and child law academies and associations and is an author on international family law. Silvia speaks German, English and French and also corresponds in these languages.
