About Yvonne Kong

Yvonne Kong is a partner in Oldham, Lie & Nie’s family law department. Yvonne has worked extensively with local and expatriate clients on applications for divorce, financial applications, and children's matters. Yvonne has a strong interest in complex children’s applications, including the Hague Convention, wardship, surrogacy, adoption, relocation, custody, care and control, and access. She has been involved in a Hong Kong trial relating to enforcing a foreign judgment for child return orders by seeking leave to issue a writ of sequestration against a Hong Kong property – a landmark case in Hong Kong (Re ARR (Wardship: Sequestration) (2022) 5 HKLRD 583).
