About Janie Soublière

Janie Soublière is the principal of Soublière Sport Law. An attorney at law, Janie has worked strictly in this area since 2002. As a Chartered Arbitrator, she sits on various sport dispute resolution panels, including CAS. Her sports arbitration experience is significant, having penned over 275 awards to date. Janie is also a trained trauma-informed investigator, actively involved in and sought out to conduct investigations into sport-related misconduct allegations and safe sport complaints. She has taught Sport Law and now guest lectures internationally, has acted as athlete-agent to Canadian athletes and is an executive board member of the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame (Legal and Governance).
