About Janie Soublière

Janie Soublière is an attorney-at-law and the principal of Soublière Sport Law providing consultancy in sport law since 2002. A chartered arbitrator, she sits on various sport dispute resolution panels, including the Court of Arbitration for Sport (General and Football Lists). Her sports arbitration experience is significant, having penned over 300 awards. Janie is also an experienced, trained trauma-informed investigator actively sought out to conduct investigations into sport-related misconduct allegations. She competed in NCAA Div 1 Tennis, regularly guest lectures for international sport law programmes and is an executive board member of the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame.
