About Suzana Bončina Jamšek

Suzana Bončina Jamšek is a partner at BJK Law, specialising in banking and finance (including financial regulation and fintech) and corporate law. She previously worked for the Bank of Slovenia (ie, the regulator and supervisor of banking and payment systems and institutions in Slovenia) and a regional law firm, where she was a partner and head of transactions. Suzana has extensive experience in financial regulation, syndicated finance, cross-border acquisitions, M&A and distressed debt finance (including portfolio transactions), project finance (including public-private partnerships), and capital markets. She has been a visiting professor at the Law Faculty in Ljubljana and has written several articles in financial and corporate law.
