Juan José Delgado
is co-managing partner of InterJuris Abogados. Juan José concentrates his practice in energy, taxation, banking, corporate and financial matters related to the structuring and implementation of project financings, debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate restructurings and joint ventures. He advises both local and multinational corporations doing business in Venezuela in the corporate, contractual and regulatory aspects of their activities. He drafts and negotiates complex corporate and financial documents, and advises on the tax implications of different transactions. Juan José has participated in major national and international arbitrations, including investment arbitrations. Prior to founding InterJuris Abogados, Mr Delgado worked as a partner at an international law firm and partner at a leading Venezuelan law firm. He also is a foreign legal consultant for DLA Piper. His experience in energy, corporate/mergers and acquisitions, and banking and finance matters in Venezuela is widely recognised.
