About Maria Augusta Rost

Maria Augusta Rost is a partner at Fenelon Barretto Rost. Co-head of the firm’s strategic litigation and arbitration practice, she specialises in administrative law, regulatory law and arbitration. Her legal practice includes acting as counsel, arbitrator, legal expert and consultant, with a focus on public procurement, infrastructure projects, government contracts and regulated industries. She previously served at the Brazilian Antitrust Authority (CADE) and the Ministry of Justice. Maria Augusta is a law professor at the University of Brasília (UnB), where she teaches arbitration. She is also the author of the book Arbitration as Public Policy and editor of the book Brazil Infrastructure Law.
