About Peter Wagesreiter

Peter Wagesreiter (LLM, University of Pennsylvania; UPenn) is a partner who heads HSP Rechtsanwälte GmbH’s banking and finance team. He advises domestic and foreign banks, financial service providers and investors on banking, finance and capital markets law. The focus is on establishing banks in the course of passporting and branch offices, with a close connection to M&A and compliance. As a certified compliance officer, Peter offers banks and other regulated clients services in the area of outsourced AML (anti-money laundering) audits. He studied law at the University of Vienna and UPenn. Peter also completed research at Harvard University during his doctoral thesis and is admitted to the Vienna and New York Bars.
