About Pedro Cortés

Pedro Cortés began his legal career at Lektou in 2003 and currently serves as managing partner. He has extensive experience in gaming, IT, corporate law, M&A, capital markets, and banking and finance. He is admitted to practice in Macau, Portugal, Brazil, China (as a cross-border Macau lawyer) and East Timor. His commitment to excellence is reflected in his active memberships in organisations such as the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA), the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL), Hong Kong Institute of Directors (HKIoD), International Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). In academia, he shares his expertise as a guest lecturer at Católica, Lisbon School of Law.
