About Daniel Silva

Daniel Silva is a founding partner of Silva & Parmar Abogados. He has advised cedants, reinsurers and brokers on regulatory matters and complex claims across multiple jurisdictions, and served as in-house counsel for one of Chile’s largest insurers. His expertise spans property, liability, product, environmental, aviation, aquaculture, mining and engineering risks, alongside regulatory guidance for market entrants in Chile. A founding member of AIDA Joven (the youth chapter of the International Association of Insurance Law) (2018–2024), he was also its President from 2021 to 2023.
