About Roustam Badasyan

Roustam Badasyan is a prominent Armenian lawyer with deep expertise in legal reform, tax administration and complex corporate and regulatory matters. As former Minister of Justice and chairperson of the State Revenue Committee, he played a central role in Armenia’s justice sector modernisation and public finance transparency initiatives. He developed and implemented key reform papers advancing institutional transformation and alignment with international standards, including IT-driven measures to enhance transparency and efficiency in tax administration. A licensed advocate and former senior associate at a leading law firm, Roustam holds an LLM and is widely published for his work in the areas of corporate, tax and mining law.
