About Ivan Yankov

Ivan Yankov is managing partner at YNG Legal and one of the leading specialists supporting start-ups and scaling companies in Bulgaria. He has participated in various working groups on adopting new regulations and implementing EU directives and regulations into Bulgaria’s legislative framework. He has participated in the preparation of over 100 patents, utility models and trade mark applications, as well as numerous legislative drafts. He has represented clients in commercial, copyright, sports and civil cases before courts and arbitration tribunals in Bulgaria and abroad. A member of the Sofia Bar Association, he is also a licensed IP appraiser in Bulgaria and a mediator with the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice.
