Alberto Dorrego de Carlos
is a partner of the firm and a member of its executive board, and has over 25 years’ experience in public and administrative law, focusing on the fields of government contracts (public procurement), public infrastructure and services, administrative concessions and public-private partnerships (PPP). Alberto is a recognised specialist in roads and highways, transport, and pharmaceutical and health regulation. He has extensive experience in public law litigation at all levels of court, and represents a long list of powerful clients in the public procurement, concessions and PPP sector. He is a permanent member of the General Commission for Law Codification (Public Law Section) of the Ministry of Justice, responsible of drafting most relevant government bills in public law field, and chairman of the Administrative Law Section of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM). Alberto is also vice-president of the Spanish Chamber of Concessionaires of Infrastructures and Public Services (CCIES), Professor of Administrative Law and author of many monographs and legal articles in this field. He is correspondent member of the Spanish Royal Academy Jurisprudence and Legislation.
