About Assemian Kouakou

Assemian Kouakou is the managing partner of Ofori Conseils Africa. He focuses on corporate, regulatory and transactional matters across Francophone Africa, with a particular emphasis on OHADA business law, and insurance and reinsurance regulation. Assemian also advises clients on financing and capital markets transactions, and on competition aspects (WAEMU and ECOWAS). His clients include financial institutions, buy-side firms, issuers, fintech companies, insurance companies and industry associations. His practice combines in-depth knowledge of local regulatory environments with advisory methods aligned with international best practices. Assemian is a member of the International Network of African Lawyers and the National Chamber of Legal Advisors of Côte d’Ivoire.
