Joana Torres Fernandes is a lawyer and founding and managing partner of LVP Advogados. A member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2011, she heads the firm’s Immigration and Private Clients practice. With over 15 years of legal experience, Joana advises international clients, families, investors and high-net-worth individuals on residency, nationality, relocation, real estate and corporate matters in Portugal. Before founding LVP Advogados in 2020, she worked as a senior associate lawyer and gained in-house experience at General Motors. Joana is closely involved in strategic, cross-border matters requiring coordination between immigration, private client, corporate and real estate aspects.
