About Sujan Malhotra

Sujan Malhotra is managing partner at Ship Law Sea FZ LLE, with over 17 years’ experience in maritime and international trade law. He holds an LLM in International Maritime Law from Swansea University and is dual-qualified as an English solicitor and Indian advocate. He combines legal expertise with commercial insight gained through in-house roles with leading offshore and fleet shipping companies, and positions at international law firms. His practice covers dispute resolution, arbitration, contracts and cross-border shipping matters. He has represented Monaco and, since 2019, UAE ship-owners at the BIMCO Documentary Committee, and is an elected member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
