About Dan Karlsson

Dan Karlsson founded DKCO Attorneys-at-law in 1994 and serves as partner and chief executive officer. His corporate, finance and M&A practice centres on cross-border transactions into the Åland market from Sweden and mainland Finland, covering industrial, energy, marine and real estate assets. He advises clients on portfolio acquisitions, leads transaction structuring, risk assessment and deal timetables, and drafts and negotiates indicative bids ahead of legal due diligence. He acts for borrowers and lenders on acquisition and real estate finance, negotiating facility documentation and security packages under Finnish law. Dan has also chaired numerous general meetings on Åland.
