He is a financial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience in international operations in different sectors. Andrés has participated in public and private securities issues in the international market (including IPOs and issues under Regulation S and Rule 144-A), purchases of companies (including companies listed through OPAs), the financing and development of projects with special concentration in energy sectors (oil and gas, mining and electricity) and infrastructure (health, ports and roads), asset-backed financings (including securitisations), and banking regulation. He has led international and local equity and debt issues, as well as cross-border financings and successful M&A in the energy, mining and natural resources sectors. Before joining Rubio Leguía Normand, Andrés was principal partner at Estudio Muñiz for seven years, and was previously a senior associate at Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas and a consultant to the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC.
