About James Mossetto

James Mossetto is a senior associate in Appleby’s corporate department and the funds and investment services team in the Cayman Islands. He represents hedge funds, private equity funds, family offices and investors, with a principal focus on alternative fund formation, ongoing operations and governance. James also advises on co-investments and primary and secondary fund investments, and has experience with digital assets and fund regulatory matters. As well as the Cayman Islands, James has advised on funds and transactions structured in the USA, the UK, the Channel Islands, Luxembourg, Ireland and other jurisdictions. Prior to joining Appleby, James was a senior associate in the London office of a US law firm, and was previously an associate in the funds team of a Magic Circle law firm in London.
