About Joseph F Borg

Joseph F Borg heads both the gaming and gambling and the fintech practices at WH Partners. Before joining WH Partners, Joseph was the chief regulatory officer at the Malta Gaming Authority (formerly the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, Malta) (MGA). Joseph first joined the MGA in March 2007 as director of legal and enforcement. He was also an elected member on the Board of Trustees of the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR). Joseph regularly advises on innovative products and licensing in a variety of jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks, as well as on regulatory compliance. Joseph holds a Master’s Degree in IT and Telecommunications Law with Distinction from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He successfully completed the Oxford FinTech Programme at Said Business School, University of Oxford.
