About Wataru Yoshida

Wataru Yoshida is a manager at DT Legal Japan, serving on the tax controversy team within the tax and legal department at the Deloitte Tohmatsu group. He has handled and advised on a range of tax matters, including the CFC regime, corporate reorganisations, consumption tax issues in cross-border transactions and inheritance tax. He served as an appeals judge (on a specialised fixed term appointment) at the Tokyo National Tax Tribunal from 2020 to 2024. He is a member of the Dai ni Tokyo Bar Association and holds a PhD in Business Law from Hitotsubashi University.
