Yutaka Kitamura is a partner at DT Legal Japan, serving as the tax controversy leader within the tax and legal department at the Deloitte Tohmatsu group, with a focus on tax controversy and tax reform proposal support. He has resolved complex tax issues in numerous matters he has handled or advised on, including tax litigation concerning the CFC regime and the disallowance of acts or computations in corporate reorganisations, as well as administrative appeals involving entertainment expenses, property tax and corporate reorganisations. He is a member of the Dai-ichi Tokyo Bar Association and the Tokyo Certified Public Tax Accountants’ Association.
