is an associate in Armstrong’s commercial department. His areas of practice include commercial litigation, labour litigation, and drafting and reviewing of commercial agreements, as well as drafting various opinions in relation to commercial law. Ada also provides regular advice to local and international companies on banking law, financial services laws, energy law, tax law, labour law, compliance, anti-money laundering, insurance and regulatory frameworks, including, but not limited, to advice on the Companies Act and its regulations. He has also recently worked on a number of matters involving the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority, in particular anti-money laundering issues. Ada also assists in setting up non-profit organisations and international business as local entities in Botswana. Ada is a member of the Law Society of Botswana and a member of LEXAfrica, an alliance of leading law firms in Africa in more than 20 countries.
