Sipho Alec Ziga
is the lead partner in the commercial department of Armstrongs. His specialisations include corporate commercial legal transactions, banking and finance, capital-raisings, offerings, listings, corporate governance, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts such as subscriptions, management and shareholders' agreements, and general business law. Sipho routinely carries out and gives advice on Botswana’s law and regulatory environment with regard to mergers, acquisitions and general corporate legal advice to multi-nationals and international law firms. Sipho’s infallible expertise in Botswana mining legislation provides him with the opportunity to act as adviser to the vast majority of multi-nationals and mining houses with interests in Botswana, by assisting in company formation, acquisitions, due diligence, compliance issues, applications for licences and capital-raisings. Sipho also occasionally deals with high-profile litigation matters, having acquired experience in this area in the formative years of his career.
