About Derrick Kizito Kunyiga

Derrick Kizito Kunyiga is an associate in the Dispute Resolution department of MMAKS Advocates. He holds an LL.M. from New York University School of Law and is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda. His practice covers international commercial and investor-state arbitration under the ICC, UNCITRAL, LCIA, ICSID and SCC rules and frameworks, with a focus on construction, energy and finance disputes, alongside arbitration-related litigation before the Ugandan courts. He is a member of the ICAMEK panel of arbitrators, has published on Ugandan arbitration law, and is an active member of CIArb, Young ICCA and Young LCIA.
