Philip E. Nsaja
is an associate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation department of MMAKS Advocates. He represents clients in contentious and non-contentious matters in banking and financial services, insolvency and receivership, insurance and regulatory disputes, construction, tax disputes, employment and medical negligence. His arbitration work includes enforcement in Uganda of a USD1.3 billion ICSID award against a sovereign state and its central bank, FIDIC construction arbitration and a jurisdictional objection on a unilateral election to arbitrate clause. He is a member of the Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society.
