About Mathiew Christophe Rajoo

Mathiew Christophe Rajoo is a co-founder of DennisMathiew, and specialises in shipping and admiralty law. Before being admitted as an advocate and solicitor, he served onboard container ships and oil tankers as Deck Officer. He is experienced in wet work and frequently investigates maritime casualties. Mathiew handles commercial transactions that have a maritime flavour, such as sale and purchase of vessels, marine assets and businesses. He advises on agreements regarding offshore construction work, including joint venture and consortium agreements. He also has experience in drafting ship-building contracts and settling disputes. Mathiew advises insurers and assureds regarding their rights and obligations and continues to appear as counsel in court and before arbitral tribunals.
