About Carlos Villarroel

Carlos Villarroel is an associate in Linklaters’ US executive compensation, employee benefits and ERISA practice in New York. He joined Linklaters in 2024 after earning his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Carlos has worked on cross-border M&A transactions for public and private companies involving complex executive compensation and benefits matters, and he regularly drafts and advises on US employment and independent contractor agreements. He also dedicates himself to pro bono services, completing employment and immigration projects for Lawyers Alliance for New York and the New York Legal Assistance Group.
