About George Casey

George Casey is Global Chairman of Corporate and Chairman of the Americas at Linklaters, based in New York. He has extensive experience in US domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including public company acquisitions, complex carve-out sales, spin-offs, asset and stock acquisitions, strategic investments and joint ventures. He has represented many large corporate clients and sovereign wealth funds, and regularly advises boards of directors and management on strategic M&A transactions, corporate governance, ESG and shareholder relations. George is an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he teaches cross-border M&A, and is a lecturer of US M&A at l’École de Droit de la Sorbonne – Université Paris I.
