About Jean Marcel Arakawa

Jean Marcel Arakawa has more than 25 years' experience in advising Brazilian and international corporations, financial institutions and institutional investors on a wide array of capital markets and financial and corporate transactions. He works with private equity and venture capital investments and divestments, and defends capital market participants in administrative disciplinary proceedings filed by the CVM. Jean also structures and conducts private placements of shares and debt/hybrid securities, and assists with market exits through tender offers or reorganisations. He is a member of the Regulatory Committee of the Brazilian Association of Venture Capital and Private Equity (ABVCAP).
