About Pablo Sorj

Pablo Sorj is a partner at Mattos Filho and represents companies, investment funds and financial institutions with a wide range of transactions in the infrastructure and energy sectors. He advises on transactions concerning project finance, structured finance and acquisition finance, and assists with purchases and sales of infrastructure and energy assets. Pablo previously worked as a foreign lawyer at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in New York, and is currently the chairman of the Brazilian Bar Association’s (OAB-RJ) Project Finance Committee, co-president of the Stanford Law School Alumni Association in Brazil, and sector vice-president of the Brazilian Mediation and Arbitration Center (CBMA). He holds a law degree from PUC-RJ, an executive MBA from IBMEC-RJ and an LLM from Stanford Law School.
