Philippe Alves do Nascimento is a senior associate at Mattos Filho with great experience in white-collar criminal defence, having formerly been a partner at a highly regarded boutique Brazilian firm specialised in criminal law, where he was part of the team that co-ordinated the defence and settlement strategies in the “Lava Jato” matter. Philippe has a PhD from the University of São Paulo Law School, and he is a visiting professor on a number of different graduate courses in Brazil, where he regularly lectures on securities crimes, corporate crimes and other courses related to his field of scholarship.
