About Darrell Podowski

Darrell Podowski is a partner in the mining group at Cassels. He advises mining companies on joint venture transactions, going-public transactions, corporate finance, M&A transactions and general corporate commercial matters in Canada and internationally. Having spent seven years as an exploration geophysicist with Amoco Canada Petroleum Company and four years’ as in-house corporate counsel to Teck Resources Limited, Darrell has a particularly strong understanding of the practical commercial needs of his clients. He is a member of the Association of Mineral Exploration BC and the Foundation of Natural Resources and Energy Law, and is the Co-Chair of the Mining Committee of the International Bar Association.
