About Dian Howard

Dian Howard serves as counsel in the Intellectual Property Group at Cassels. She is also a registered trade mark agent. Dian’s practice covers the protection, enforcement, acquisition and licensing of copyrights and trade marks. She advises clients on the clearance, prosecution and management of domestic and international trade mark portfolios and negotiates commercial agreements involving intellectual property rights. Dian provides clients with guidance on matters concerning copyright infringement, copyright protection and enforcement. She also advises clients on domain name and internet-related disputes, packaging and labelling requirements, marketing and advertising compliance, as well as federal and provincial privacy law and data protection matters.
