About Amanda Mfuphi

Amanda Mfuphi is a senior associate in the Competition Practice team at Bowmans' Johannesburg office. Prior to joining the firm, Amanda was a senior analyst in the Competition Commission of South Africa's (Commission) M&A Division and an active member of the International Competition Network's Merger Working Group (ICN MWG) and the Commission's representative on the ICN MWG. He has extensive experience analysing the competitive effects of mergers as well as monitoring compliance with merger conditions and pre-implementation investigations. Amanda has advised clients on high-profile merger filings and prohibited practices investigation before the Commission.
