Jutami Augustyn is a partner in Bowmans’ corporate department, Johannesburg office. Her practice is split between upstream and downstream private equity transactions, having advised on numerous fund set-ups, investments into funds as well as private equity M&A. Jutami’s experience further extends to advising a diverse range of leading corporates (private and public sector) on the various elements of domestic and cross-border transactions, corporate and commercial matters, broad-based black economic empowerment, due diligence investigations and corporate governance issues. Jutami has a BAccLLB degree from Stellenbosch University and is admitted as an attorney and notary of the High Court of South Africa.
