About Timothy McDougall

Timothy McDougall is a partner in Bowmans’ corporate department, Johannesburg office and a member of the M&A practice. He specialises in private equity mergers and acquisitions and is also experienced in matters relating to general corporate and commercial law. Timothy has assisted numerous high-profile local and international clients in relation to complex local and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, due diligence investigations, governance issues, and shareholder relations (including management arrangements and incentives). Timothy has BA and LLB (cum laude) degrees from Rhodes University and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
