About Christiana O’Connell-Schizas

Christiana O’Connell-Schizas is an English-qualified solicitor. She joined Baker McKenzie Law Firm in 2014 and leads the Saudi employment and compensation practice. She actively advises Saudi and foreign clients on strategic employment law matters including on-boarding, internal policies, secondments, holding disciplinary meetings and issuing disciplinary penalties, terminations, Saudisation and nationalisation requirements; preparing compensation plans, such as stock options; and leading employment transactions in the context of reorganisations, acquisitions, spin-offs, mergers, outsourcing, etc. Christiana has worked at Baker McKenzie’s Bahrain and London offices, and is one of two lawyers ranked by Chambers in employment in Saudi Arabia.
